Bridging Two Worlds
A student-led initiative exploring the relationship between the United States and China — through conferences, conversation, and community.
"Informed, nuanced conversation is more important now than ever."
Who We Are
We believe dialogue
changes things.
PACIFIC (Pomona American China Initiative) is a student-run organization dedicated to substantive dialogue on one of the defining relationships of our time.
Our members are students passionate about international relations, economics, history, technology, and public policy — united by the conviction that understanding comes through conversation.
Each semester we host a flagship conference with speakers from academia, government, journalism, and the private sector. Year-round, we hold workshops, screenings, and community events open to all Claremont Colleges students.
